YOUR INFORMATION
Data and privacy at ATLAS.
This page explains the service’s current data handling. Contact support@atlasbi.app with questions about your account or information.
What the service stores
ATLAS stores your account details, organisation and workspace membership, uploaded files, connected source settings, reports, and records of actions needed to run the service. Passwords are stored as hashes. Some connection settings and report snapshots are encrypted by the application; original uploads are stored as files on the server.
Where it runs
ATLAS is hosted on Oracle Cloud in Ashburn, Virginia, United States. Account emails are sent through Oracle Cloud Email Delivery. Messages to support@atlasbi.app are forwarded by Porkbun to the ATLAS support inbox hosted by Gmail. The service uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and security tokens to protect account actions.
Access and sharing
Your workspace permissions control access within ATLAS. Authorised service administrators can access server data to operate, troubleshoot, and recover the service. Exported files are outside ATLAS access controls once downloaded, so share them carefully.
Recovery and deletion
Encrypted backups support recovery after an incident. Backups can retain earlier copies of information after it is removed from an active workspace. Contact support to request account or data deletion and discuss backup retention before uploading information with specific retention requirements.
Data you upload
Only upload data you are authorised to use. Check source coverage and report results before relying on them. If your organisation requires a data processing agreement, a specific hosting region, or a compliance certification, contact ATLAS before using the service for that requirement.
